"There are no wrong or right way to build self confidence, because right and wrong is subjective...Everyone is on a different path."
Think positive thoughts especially moments when you're feeling down, remind yourself that life is too short, and you have to make the best of it.
Listen to music that will lift your mood, a good beat and sound is proven to help people in a positive way.
TIP 2 - Find Your Qualities
Instead of focusing on the negative, focus on the positive, and it doesn't have to be a physical thing. Maybe you're good at a video game, singing, painting, playing an instrument...No one is perfect at everything, we were all made imperfect.
And if you don't think you have a quality, just ask yourself, "What am I good at?"
Everyone is good at something, and If you don't know what it is just yet, take an opportunity to find it! Take cooking classes, art lessons, singing lessons..Pick up on a passion and nurture it, because this helps self worth. This will give you something to strive for.
TIP 3 - Have A Buddy System
The journey to building self confidence is not a lonely road, everyone is on the same journey. Find someone you trust and share you're insecurities with them. It feels good to get it off your chest.
♥
I know its tough with all these websites and apps, its so easy to find a picture or video where its going to make you feel insecure about yourself...But you have to stop obsessing with comparing yourself to other people and obsess with the question "What can I do to improve myself?"
Everyone is going to take a different path..Maybe its exercising, going back to school, coloring you're hair, getting rid of negative friends. As long as your not physically or mentally hurting anyone, I see no wrong path in finding happiness.
TIP 5 - BE POSITIVE
A positive mind will open doors, don't just limit yourself to one path! Take as many as you need until you've reached your destination. And once you've found you're confidence, ENJOY IT. When your feeling down, bring that feeling back into you're mind. Also remind yourself, this is a feeling YOU control.
You are all perfectly imperfect.
