K.Will Teases SISTAR′s Hyolyn About Her Skin
K.Will and SISTAR showed their closeness by bickering on radio show.
During August 7’s broadcast of SBS Power FM’s Young Street, SISTAR appeared as the special guest.
Before beginning the program, DJ K.Will commented that the day is going to be tough for him since SISTAR, who is his junior group at the same agency, appeared as the guest.
K.Will then jokingly said to SISTAR’s Hyolyn, “You’re getting darker by the day. Don’t you want to go back to being lighter?” and Hyolyn said, “I don’t know why people keep saying that I’m dark. I’m not that dark,” and claimed that she looks darker because of Dasom, who has an exceptionally light skin tone.
K.Will asked, “Is any part of Hyolyn’s body light?” and Soyou revealed, “Hyolyn unnie has light colored hands and feet,” causing laughter.
Upon hearing Hyolyn groaning about the topic of discussion, K.Will said, “Is it your new concept to be someone with a personality disorder?” causing another round of laughter.

Idols need to learn the art of shade, It's gross how it is apart of Korean culture to make such bad jokes regarding to skin color. Yes, It's apart of the "culture" then again, the basics of it by thinking lighter skin is superior to darker skin is really messed up. It just overall pisses me off when I see it being brushed off as a "joke." I'm over this, every week someone is saying something about skin tone. Not only am I over it, but the darker skinned Koreans/Asians are too.
K.Will is talking about Hyorin's skin, but he isn't exactly white as paper. He is about the same color as Hyorin, yet he is making fun of her for being "dark"....he obviously has an insecurity issue.
Not only did K.Will make fun of Hyorin's skin color, but when he clearly noticed she was uncomfortable he accused her of having a disorder.
[CONFIRMED] If you're showing visual signs of being uncomfortable with a topic, you have a disorder...OKAY K.WILL.
