TIP 1: Be you! Be original! Be unique
Nobody likes a copycat. I understand that you get inspired and you want to follow in the person that you look up to(s) foot steps, but the best thing to do is take it and make it your own.
TIP 2: Expose yourself to different cultures, ideas, and places/ surroundings
What you create is completely based on personal experiences and exposure. If you live in a town and you never leave, you're scope on life will be very small. As a human being and living one life... GET OUT THERE! Travel, go to shows: Theatre shows, dance shows, art exhibits, festivals. Go to things that are outside your comfort zone. When you start stepping outside your comfort zone, not only do you grow as a human being, but you have a better understanding and appreciation for this world that we live in! So, get out there and GROW. Don't get comfortable, when your comfortable, that means your not growing. One life, make the most of it.
TIP 3: Collaborate with other artist
Work with other people, see ideas from another persons view and you will be inspired. Just work with awesome people, me meaning positive, open minded, and loving people.
TIP 4: Work hard, hustle hard
A lot of people need to discipline themselves and work hard.. Because while your sleeping, getting waisted, partying, gossiping with your friends, all that nonsense! I'm going to be up all hours hustling trying to get it done, because I am trying to do something with my life. Try to surround yourself with people like that. Work hard, work smart.
TIP 5: Do more, think less
Over analyzing doubting and 2nd guessing STOP! Just do and create.
TIP 6: STOP hating, STOP complaining, STOP thinking your better
The only thing hating and complaining backfires is on you. Stop waisting your energy on complaining and hating, all it does bring negativity into your face. When you feel yourself hating on someone or complaining stop and reevaluate your life, ask yourself "What can I learn from this?" there is always a lesson to be learned in everything.
TIP 7: Drown yourself in positivity
There is NO such thing as too much positivity, there isn't enough in this world. Negative people are disgusting and the most laziest people I know. Positive requires hard work, discipline, but the pay off awesome...happiness.
TIP 8: In order to be great, you will encounter hate
The most successful people in the world encounter hate. That's just how this world is. You know when you have haters your obviously doing right. "In order to be great, you will encounter hate."
